2022 Bernard J. Couillaud Prize

Chiara Trovatello has been awarded by the Optica Foundation and Coherent with the Bernard J. Couillaud Prize, a merit-based award of USD 25,500 for an early career professional to pursue a compelling and innovative project that has the potential to make a meaningful and positive impact on the science and applications of ultrafast lasers. She is recognized for the challenges and innovative solutions associated with her work in Optical Parametric Oscillators and Amplifiers.
Chiara Trovatello has been awarded on May 18 during the Plenary Session II at CLEO 2022 in San Jose (California).

Premio Luigi Tartufari 2022
Il 17 Maggio scorso, è stato consegnato al Prof. Giulio Cerullo il Premio Luigi Tartufari per la Fisica del 2022, in occasione della Cerimonia Solenne di Chiusura dell’A. A. dell’Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, che ha avuto luogo alla presenza del Presidente della Repubblica Sergio Mattarella. Giulio Cerullo ha ricevuto il premio dalle mani del Presidente della Classe di Scienze Matematiche, Fisiche e Naturali nonché Premio Nobel per la Fisica 2021, Giorgio Parisi.
Congratulations to Dr. Margherita Maiuri, who has been awarded with the 2021 Fresnel Prize for applied aspects for outstanding achievements in ultrafast optical spectroscopy, unveiling primary light-induced processes in bio-molecules and nanostructures with sub-10-fs pulses!
