Research

In our research group, lead by Prof. Giulio Cerullo, we study the ultrafast processes at the heart of novel 2D materials, DNA biomolecules and photosynthesis by UV-VIS-NIR pump-probe spectroscopy and VIS two-dimensional electronic spectroscopy. In addition, a novel part of our research focuses on hyperspectral imaging, a new way of measuring light and acquiring a complete light spectrum for each point in the image of a scene.

Scientific collaborations

The wide range of multidisciplinary efforts comes from close collaborations with international scientific partners, such us the Cambridge Graphene Center (UK), TU Berlin (Germany), and Columbia University in the City of New York (NY).
